SMS

Any Individual who wants to donate Blood when needed can register on our website or can register through an SMS to our Server and then can become an E-Blood Donor.

An Individual requiring blood in emergency can SMS to a specific number (56070) and just request for blood.

The Message is further processed on the database of the registered donors and the eligible donors will receive an SMS with contact details of the person requiring blood and Vice Versa.

The entire service runs 24 x 7 x 365 and is automated. This service would be available across Gujarat.

The SMS server selects the eligible donor depending on certain criteria like:Blood Group, City, Last blood donation Date, etc.

Be an e-Blood Donor and donate blood as and when someone needs it.

	The person who wants to get the Blood through our unique SMS Solution they have to request for the Blood in Following Format and send the same to 56070.
	BLOOD NEED <<BLOODGROUP>> <<CITY>> send to 56070
	e.g " BLOOD Need O+ Ahmedabad." And send the same to 56070
Exceptions: If the person is sending the SMS with wrong format then the return message will be fired from the server asking for correct format, Similarly if the city name or blood group is spelled wrongly then the return message will be fired to retype the message with correct city name and blood group.
	Once the server gets the SMS of the person who requires the blood then it will filter 10 donors according the need and generate SMS with below format.
	SMS for the donor: urgent need for <blood group> blood in <city> contact on <mobile no>.
	e.g. "urgent need for O+ blood in ahmedabad contact on 09123456789 "
	The donor who donates the blood will have to either login to website or SMS the last blood donation date to the SMS server to avoid receiving the donation requests for another 3 months of time..
	The SMS format for that is as below.
	BLOOD DONATED <<DD/MM/YY>> send it to 56070
	e.g. "BLOOD DONATED 25/08/08" send it to 56070
	The person who wants to register to donate blood with eblooddonor.com can SMS SMS for registration in following format
	The SMS format for that is as below.
	BLOOD REG <blood group> <city> <name> send it to 56070
	e.g. "BLOOD REG O+VE AHMEDABAD XYZ" send it to 56070

Note :
If the donor changes the mobile number which is registered in the database have to login to website and modify his/her profile.. same in case of city change as well. If the donor is not updating the last blood donation date he/she will continue to receive the blood donation requests.. The Donor has a moral responsibility to give positive response to each SMS rcvd for Blood donation. The person asking for the Blood and the DONOR sending the SMS to the short code will be charges as the Short code charges : Rs. 4.00 Per SMS
